Mill Associates Ltd operates across several continents. As such, we are aware of our responsibilities to the environment and to the lives of people engaged in the supply chain. With this in mind, we work closely with all our growers and business partners to ensure that all employees are treated fairly and that levels of remuneration and working conditions are in line with, or above, legal requirements and local standards.
Social practices.
As part of our commitment to our social responsibilities, we support several agricultural projects, from providing advice, guidance and equipment to start up enterprises, to investing in larger operations where communities are supported by employment opportunities and social benefits. We are delighted to be a part of these initiatives and to see the development of schools, medical facilities, free water supplies, hot meals, and much more, in the communities around our farms, especially in Kenya and Ethiopia.
Within the UK and Europe we are working to minimise our packaging usage, by introducing recycled crates and we will continue to identify further areas in which we can make a difference.
